In the pines: An oral history of the 1990 Mohawk resistance at Kanehsatake

Thirty years ago on July 11, shots rang out on the Mohawk territory of Kanehsatake -- and Indigenous resistance in Canada would never be the same.   In 2015, APTN's Tom Fennario compiled a five part oral history of the Mohawk resistance of 1990, known to many as the Oka Crisis.   From the archives, here's part one of In the Pines.
