Governor General Mary May Simon issues statement on the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Governor General Mary May Simon issued a video statement Thursday to mark the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Simon said the day was important to “honour Indigenous children who experienced or witnessed cruel injustices.
