Gathering in honour of Jennifer Stewart takes place in Ottawa

A group of about 50 people gathered in Ottawa over the weekend to honour a Cree woman who was killed nearly 11 years ago. The vigil happened just a few blocks away from where Jennifer Stewart was murdered. It was organized by her daughter, Bethany Stewart. No trial date has been scheduled, but Sunday’s vigil was more about remembering Jennifer.
