For the first time an Indigenous player will be on the American women’s hockey team

The Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games are starting in just under a month. Olympic teams are being finalized and among them are Indigenous athletes, including the Canadian and American women's hockey teams. Team Canada announced their players earlier Tuesday. Among them is Jocelyne Larocque - a Métis player from Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
