First Indigenous woman to become Miss World Canada

Emma Morrison from the Chapleau Cree First Nation in northern Ontario is the first Indigenous woman to hold the title of Miss World Canada. Morrison says she grew up hunting and fishing and now makes ribbon skirts as part of her humanitarian campaign.
