First Indigenous chair to lead Canada Council for the Arts and what changes he’ll make

For the first time in its 63 year history, the Canada Council for the Arts has named an Indigenous chair to lead the organization. The council is responsible for handing out hundreds of millions of dollars in grants to artists across the country. Anishinaabe writer and broadcaster Jesse Wente is the new chair and he joins APTN National News from Toronto.
