Evanders father: It’s a struggle everyday to find justice for my little boy

Another blow for the families of the 22-month-old Evander Lee Daniels.

Evander died in a bathtub of scalding hot water in 2010.

As his foster mother attended to another child in the next room.

  1. This goes to show that some people just don’t care enough to put careful attention to the water’s temperature if it’s not their child unless it was done intentionally. Attending to another child is a very poor excuse when this child was screaming or yelling from the scalding water. This is a good sign of abuse. The family deserves justice for losing their child this way.

  2. Evander’s story breaks my heart. I feel so badly for Chris – and surviving family – for the senseless loss of this precious boy and the circumstances in which the situation arose.

Chris extended himself tirelessly to try and work effectively with ministry in order to prevent further tragedies like that of his beloved son’s fate. I am deeply angered that his efforts have been ignored and resentful of governmental betrayal of families and children.
