Police say both bodies were found in a recreation and camping area near Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug, a remote fly-in community more than 500 km north of Thunder Bay.
The study says one of the most important factors is the time between when a victim’s remains end up in a landfill and when a search begins.
