First Nations drop lawsuit after Indigenous Affairs minister agrees to work on environment law.

Yukon First Nations have agreed to drop a lawsuit against Canada after Indigenous Affairs Minister Carolyn Bennett said she would work with them on bill S-6.

The bill, introduced by the previous Conserative government, loosened environmental controls for developers.
