We often hear about the lack of access to clean drinking water in Aboriginal communities and the right to access traditional waterways.

But what about the spiritual aspect of water?

One elder speaks about the spiritual dimensions of water to students at the University of Manitoba.

  1. Everything has a context of application, be it carnal or spiritual. The blessing of woman over the water must be the acknowledgement of man to go to war.

It is the duty of men to step up and take back what has been taken. We as men have the spiritual authorities to do this in a very big way. Woman must look on and give her approval, once approved she has no say regarding the methods used by man to accomplish this task. For this reason, fairness is paramount where rite and wrong have no merit. Such a war is of the supernatural…LITERALLY!

  2. From a spiritual perspective, such is the foundation upon which all things exist. As such, men are the protectors, the warriors and the providers of “her dominion”. Once woman has a secure dominion, she is King of that dominion. A realm specks of the spiritual foundations upon which all things exist. A dominion speaks of boundaries created within the spiritual realm.

Like the water that has become polluted with all manner of religions that flow through all dominions created; these have become like the homes in the path of a runaway tide that sweeps all away in its path, respecting no one.

The water is in representation of the spirits which found all dominions that has become polluted and all dominions are in danger or have been swept away all together.

As such, the man must step up and secure her dominion. Then once secure, she takes over the more delicate tasks vital to all homes function and day to day maintenances as required. The man in turn stands ready to assist her needs and protections.

The mirror of natural reflection is balance. Of the carnal dominions and the spiritual realms; the role of man and woman reverse in order of hierarchy that regard woman heading a dominion and man the realm of foundation. Of the essence, man and woman are always in their respective placements.

Of the world, man is King; of the earth, woman is King. Of current times, man of the realm must step up and secure what is hers. The earth.
