Whitehorse police cleared of wrongdoing involving drunk man

Two years ago APTN National News spoke with Wayne Hare who believed he was injured by police after going on a bender.

Hare said he drank all day and night Jan. 15, 2011 at a downtown bar in Whitehorse.

He claimed he later awoke naked, bruised, stiff and sore on the floor of the Whitehorse RCMP detachment.

This week the police were cleared for any wrongdoing.

APTN National News reporter Shirley McLean knows why.
