APTN National News
A forest that is at the centre of a debate is heading to the Supreme Court of Canada.

  1. ReasonableCanadian says:

Clear cuts are not sustainable! It destroys groundwater recharge capacity. Selective logging is needed to protect species that protect forests. ie: no wolves results in deer/moose eating saplings. We need key species to act as behaviour modifiers to protect new growth. These companies are encroaching upon sacred lands and that is totally unreasonable. This is evident of lack of reasonable consultation. This is in violation of Treaty Rights and Charter Rights.
