Unusually warm: Temperatures hovering near freezing in Iqaluit

Temperatures in Iqaluit have been hovering at just around the freezing mark most of the week.

That is very unusual given the average temperature for January in Nunavut’s capital is around minus 24 Celsius.

The freeze thaw cycle is causing some headaches for the town.
