Not too long ago a national magazine labeled Winnipeg the most racist city in Canada.
Some are trying to change that, including the city’s university.
The University of Winnipeg has approved a mandatory Indigenous studies course.
The course will look at rights, traditions, history, governance and other aspects of Indigenous culture.
