University leaders are at the former Shingwauk residential school to talk about reconciliation – and to learn more about that chapter in Canadian history.
Shingwauk was one of 130 schools operated by the governments and churches during a century of agreessive assimilation.
The meetings come more than a decade after Canada apologized to residential school survivors.
