Tsuut’ina Nation tells Calgary to take its dam somewhere else

In 2013, thousands of Calgarians were displaced, and hundreds of homes damaged in what was called the most destructive flood in the history of Alberta.

Now the province wants to build a dam to prevent future floods.

But the land they want to use is on a nearby Indigenous territory – and so far there is no consent to use their land.
