Transformation of Winnipeg’s Merchant Hotel a beacon of hope for community

The conversion of a Winnipeg hotel with a dubious history into an educational hub is about to begin.

The Merchant Hotel, in the heart of city’s north end, will soon be home to post-secondary education and affordable housing.

As APTN’s Dennis Ward reports people in the area see the project as a beacon of hope for the community.
