The 22 year old was my daughter’s friend, they went to dfc years back,,she saw her homeless last night and pan handling at the theatre last night,, she gave her some food and told her she gonna come and get her,,,,but she was gone by the time we was gone,,,its crazy to think no one is there that support her for what happened, now of something happened to her we will parade around for pretend we care

  2. You people have taken his comment waaaaay out of context! This is THE worst city for racism AND people quick to point the finger! STOP the verbal assault!

  3. Maybe the assailant will finally be exposed and may there be healing for everyone… prayers everyone

  4. We are watching and listening about this from the Sask/Alta border. Gives me the chills. Reminding me of the Moonlight drives the Saskatoon city police use to give to our native people.

  5. God Bless you young man no better feeling then saving a life. Bless you hope nothing but good fortune for you.

  6. He said at least there are some good people not all! Something is gojng on why all these kids are ending up in the river ! Someone is bad out there !

  7. Thunder Bay is the most hateful place in Canada that treats Natives like crap. And it,s all Native Lands, so sickening to read this, but glad she is ok.

  8. You made a great decision and the main thing is this person was saved and is now getting the medical help she may need. People can make a difference. Good job!

  9. Yeah what a comment there are alot of good people here in Thunder Bay comment was uncalled for

  10. Wow lucky. That could have gone much worse atleast there are some good people left out in tbay. 🙂

      1. I believe he was trying to point out that even with the recent problems our city has faced….it was nice to hear that good samaritans are still here as well. No fingers were being pointed. Just a positive comment.

      1. Yes there are alot of good people in Thunder Bay that comment was so not neccesary

      2. Racism is normalized in Thunder Bay. All those good people ought to start standing up against it. All of Canada is watching the ugliness happening here.

        1. I agree. Every article I read about Thunder Bay or the comments section is always rife with racism. It is clear to the rest of Canada that Thunder Bay is not a place to visit.

  11. One would think that the woman would be able to articulate what happened that she ended up in such a predicament⁉️…glad she’s ok nonetheless
