The Regina RCMP has been called in to conduct a criminal investigation regarding members its G Division in the territories.
The division, however, refused to go on camera to discuss details of the investigation.
A spokesperson did tell APTN National News that serious matters such as injury, bodily harm, and public and internal matters are referred to an outside force.
The RCMP’s G Division has had a troubled year.
One constable was charged with impaired driving; a sergeant is facing charges of theft, forging documents and uttering threats, and, last fall, a constable was found guilty of assault with a weapon.
