Three teens involved in the shooting death of Ethan Yellowbird have received the maximum sentence for manslaughter as youths.

Three teens involved in the shooting death of Ethan Yellowbird have received the maximum sentence for manslaughter as youths.

Yellowbird was shot while sleeping in his home in July 2011 on Samson Cree Nation in Alberta. The youths shot at the house and one bullet hit the young child.

Yellowbird’s family is calling for changes so something like this doesn’t happen again.
