Two communities went before the Supreme court Wednesday to challenge whether Canada failed to uphold it’s duty to consult.
One fo the cases has to do with a pipeline in Ontario, the other deals with fracking in Nunavut.
The cases will have implications for Indigenous peoples across the country.
