A new billboard has gone up in Saskatchewan protesting against federal cut backs to Aboriginal programming.

Located in the heart of down town Saskatoon, the billboard displays every Aboriginal organization across the country that has faced cut backs from the federal government since Prime Minister Stephen Harper apologized in 2008.

The billboard included the Native Women’’ Association, Sisters in Spirit and the Assembly of First Nations. It is part of an exhibit and was put up in conjunction with the Paved Arts Gallery opening this month in Saskatoon and runs until October.

Non-Aboriginal artist Cathy Busby says if the billboard creates an open dialogue on the issue it will have been a success.
