The Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador will be sitting down with Premier Pauline Marois today.
The chiefs will be looking for a clear commitment from the newly elected Quebec government on the economic development of First Nations.
During the Quebec election last August the chiefs decided to hold a summit on territories and resources.
They requested the government sit at the table with Quebec First Nations within a hundred days following the election.
