Province of Québec set to bring in customary adoption rules

For man First Nations and Inuit, customary adoption is just a way of life.

If someone is unable to care for a child, then a family or community member will over step in.

But most provinces in Canada don’t legally recognize customary adoption.

Québec is looking to change its own laws.
