Poundmaker chief awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to stealing TLE money

Some 50 kilometres outside Whitehorse there is a housing subdivision for members of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nation.

And there, the walls are being raised on a partnership to bring affordable housing for Canada’s Aboriginal peoples.
