Playwright in Toronto asks that only people of colour review play

A play about an Indigenous woman’s journey through inter-generational trauma is now running in Toronto.

But you won’t see reviews from critics in mainstream news outlets.

That’s because Yolanda Bonnell, from the Fort William First Nation and the play’s creator, has asked most non-Indigenous reviewers to stay away.
