What role, if any, did the Hell’s Angels or police corruption play in the deaths and disappearances of so many women from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside?

Serial killer Robert Pickton is convicted of six murders. Pickton claimed he killed 49 women.

But did he act alone? In a jailhouse confession, he claimed others helped him.

Many observers hoped the Missing Women’s Inquiry would try to answer these questions, but Commissioner Wally Oppal has refused to go there.

But by ruling this line of questioning outside the inquiry’s mandate, critics say the commissioner has fueled conspiracy theories.
