People in Winnipeg and the country are rallying to send gifts to the six-year-old who was brutally beaten on the Paul First Nation in Alberta over the weekend.

The little girl had yet to wake up from the attack as of Monday and people want to make sure when she awakes there’s plenty of gifts to make her happy.

APTN’s Dennis Ward has the story.

Host, Producer / Winnipeg

Dennis is Metis from southern Manitoba. After spending a decade working in TV in Alberta and Ontario, Dennis returned to Manitoba to join APTN’s Winnipeg bureau as reporter/correspondent in September 2014.
