Parliamentary committee wraps up work on Yukon environment bill

Canada’s Aboriginal affairs and northern development committee has just wrapped up hearings in Whitehorse.

MP’s on the committee are hearing from the public on Bill S-6, proposed legislation that would loosen environment restrictions in the territory.

As Shirley McLean reports, the hearings could be the last chance for Yukon First Nations to stop mining in the territory.
