Parliament gets set for emergency debate on Attawapiskat

As the federal government scrambles to get resources to help the Attawapiskat First Nation, members of parliament will hold an emergency debate on the state of the community and others like it.

On the weekend, the chief and council issues a state of emergency because a number of young people had threatened to take their own lives.
