Ottawa police searching for missing Inuk woman and her 5-week-old son

Ottawa police are looking for an Inuk woman and her five-week-old son. The two have been missing since Friday and police say her family is concerned for their well-being.

Madeline Atagootak, 20, and her son Elijah were reported missing Friday evening. She was last seen in the area of Somerset Street East around noon.

Atagootak is described as 5’2″ (157 cm), 115lbs (52 kg) with brown hair past her shoulders. There was no clothing description available.
