Ontario First Nations firefighters call for inquiry after 9 perish in fire

The president of the Ontario Native Firefighters Society is calling for a national inquiry after nine people died in a house fire in Pikangikum this week.

Three of the deceased were children under five.

It’s not a remote First Nation problem, but a Canadian problem says the president.
