Nunavut’s legislative assembly has come up with a plan to tackle Nunavut’s suicide crisis.

The assembly created a new position minister responsible for suicide prevention.

That new role comes with the familiar face of Paul Okalik, the territory’s former premier.

APTN spoke with Okalik about his new role.
