Nunavut advocate worries not enough being done to end child sexual abuse


A Nunavut official says not enough is being done to reverse the territory’s high rate of child sexual abuse.

Jane Bates, the advocate for children and youth, told MLAs in June the situation was at a crisis point.

Now she’s sharing her concerns with APTN News, in the lead up to the next Nunavut election in September.
