For those in the north struggling with addictions, southern styles of treatment don’t always work.

The Northwest Territories currently has no addictions treatment center, something residents feel needs to change.

  1. The GNWT shud listen to chief roy fabian and what he has to say….the program in Lantzville treatment facility is one of the best in United States and Canada, the liquor sales in 2015 made 25 ,million dollars in profit…..why cant they adopt the same program using dene traditional prinicples…..

    1. The Dene Nation needs to lobby the Feds for extra amount of dollars to reopen the Treatment centre in the North. Each Province has its own.
