The tragic loss of Alyssa Nanokeesic, 11, devastated Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug in northern Ontario last week.

The community is working together as they find ways to help their people cope.

And it’s the young people who are doing something in the hopes of healing.

Three hockey teams from the community recently travelled to Sioux Lookout to spread the message of “Choose Life” to children.
