Nearly 20% of inmates in the Yukon have fetal alcohol disorder

New research shows 17.5 per cent of people in the Yukon’s justice system suffer from fetal alcohol spectrum disorder or FASD.

The study examined 80 inmates at the Whitehorse Correctional Centre, as well as people on probation.
