Mohawks join Idle No More

The Idle No More movement is sweeping across Canada but until Friday Quebec First Nations, including the Mohawk, have remained mostly silent.

However, Friday morning a Sunrise Ceremony was organized in Kahnawake.

I’ve been lobbing for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks now in Quebec …Iam a Alqonquin new leader from Quebec… we are doing are best to educate our people on what being going on for the past week , and we are and great support in the IDLE NO MORE movement ..well be at the Parliament Hill on Friday thats for sure …see you all there PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP

  5. the more the better I stand for Idle no more
    even though I was denied status. dad is status
    & we all agree with this. some support is coming
    from the whites as well they too are getting fed up with
    all this misinformation that they have being fed.
