Mohawk territory of Kahnawà:ke finding legalized pot law to be a ‘tricky’ endeavour

As the federal government works towards legalizing marijuana, the Mohawk territory of Kahnawà:ke is still trying to work out its own law.

The community outside Montreal isn’t opposed to legalized pot – in fact, it’s looking at it as an “opportunity.”

But as First Nation communities across Canada are getting ready for legalized pot – Kahnawà:ke is finding that ironing out the kinks in this new industry is proving tricky.
