The Mi’kmaq Confederacy of Prince Edward Island is trying to explain where a million dollars of government money went.

The confederacy was involved in a plan to regulate online gaming with the province.

The province loaned the confederacy $1 million to come up with a plan.

That plan was kept under wraps and eventually abandoned.
