Mi’kmaq calling treatment of two arrested warriors a violation of charter rights

APTN National News
There are concerns that Mi’kmaq inmates in a New Brunswick jail are being denied access to spiritual services.

The provincial facility is where two Mi’kmaq warriors are awaiting trial.

They were arrested at a shale gas protest last fall.

It has some Mi’kmaq outraged and calling this a violation of their charter rights.

APTN’s Trina Roache has more.
