Members of the Tahltan Nation hold out hope as forest fires continue to rip through area

A raging forest fire continues to burn, leaving an entire community empty – and members holding out hope.

  1. Exactly. This is one of the most beautiful areas of Canada, and it will be at least one hundred years before it is anywhere close to being what it was.Wild land fires destroy whole areas of country for years and years.I am really torqued about this.Telegraph Creek is one of the places on my list as a possible place to retire.

  3. Where’s the story? This is the biggest fire of the northwest. Over 30000 hectares. 300-500 people have been evacuated from Telegraph Creek. Hold out hope. Our land is burning to the ground
