Members of B.C. town fear for safety amid neighbourhood violence

Members of a small northern British Columbia community say they have been repeatedly terrorized by one of their own neighbours. And they fear the violence will escalate.

Some living in Kelly Lake claim this neighbour has thrown rocks at drivers, chased vehicles and even shot at passersby travelling down the public road.

APTN’s Chris Stewart spoke with concerned members, who say the RCMP has done nothing to resolve the matter.

  1. Why doesn’t the Band buy the property from this land owner and be done with it? I see that their property is listed for sale.

    1. That is one of the options that is being considered, just have to come up with money. Believe me if I had it, he would be bought out

    1. True, there is always another side of the story, but numerous complaints from different people cant be making this up. I just hope nobody gets seriously hurt or dies before the police decide to take action

  3. This guy should be held under the “Mental Health Act” oh wait! There has to be a serious incident first. Threats not enough!

    1. He is a white guy but that doesn’t mean anything, anyone who threatens a human or uses violence should be dealt with
