Manitoba sues First Nations they flooded in 2011, many still homeless

In what’s being called a shocking decision the Manitoba government is suing First Nation communities flooded in 2011.

Last April four Manitoba First Nations filed a $950 million class-action lawsuit against the province for mishandling water control operations.

Now the province has turned the tables.

APTN’s Matt Thordarson has the story.
