Manitoba funding trades training for Indigenous women

Women wanting to work in skilled trades from four Manitoba First Nations will be part of a new government-funded training program.

The program, at a cost of $600,000, is aimed at reducing the gender gap in the construction sector.

It will also partner with the Manitoba Construction Sector Council to create jobs.
