Complaints over consultation don’t appear to be slowing down major energy projects in New Brunswick.

Both a pipeline and an open pit mine are proposed for Maliseet territory.

The grassroots, and some chief and councils, are opposed.

Many are raising questions about the consultation process.

    Don’t agree that this is ultimately about a lack of consultation – feel it’s more about sovereignty over territories…
