Beatrice Hunter was released from jail Friday.
The Inuk Land Protector who refused to stay away from the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric dam site had been charged with contempt of court for ignoring an injunction barring them from protesting there.
Hunter remained defiant as she greeted supporters.
