Kahnawake hold impromptu pow wow for isolated elders

Normally at this time of year, Kahnawake Mohawk Territory would be gearing up for its annual pow wow.

But like most events around the world, the pow wow is a casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nevertheless, over the weekend they took the trouble to throw a small scale version for some honoured guests.
