James Favel back with Bear Clan – as a member

James Favel is back as a member of Bear Clan Patrol after he was dumped as its executive director in July.

Favel said on Facebook he now plans to run for the elected position of director at the annual general meeting on Sept. 29 in Winnipeg.

Favel was let go in a messy public split after a dispute with the clan’s board of directors.

In a statement emailed to APTN News, the board confirmed it approved Favel’s application to have his lapsed membership renewed.

This followed an online petition to see Favel reinstated that collected more than 3,500 signatures.
