Inuvik TRC event triggers memories on path to healing

The haunting drumming of the Dene opened the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s national event in Inuvik, NWT, Tuesday.

Members of the TRC, politicians and church representatives along with hundreds of residential school survivors gathered on the grounds of Chief Jim Koey Park.
